Cleveland is the only Portland Public High School
that continues to offer beginning journalism, photography,
yearbook and newspaper opportunities during the school day.
THE CLARION
The Clarion is the student-run newspaper
published every three weeks. Students who successfully complete
the Journalism class may apply for the newspaper staff. For

THE LEGEND
Cleveland's yearbook, The Legend, is
published at the end of the school year with a Spring supplement
available in the Fall. Any student may apply for a position
on this staff, which is composed primarily of juniors and

Photography opportunities are
available for beginning, advanced and publication photography.
