On Tues. 2/7, period 2, 8th graders from Lane Middle School will be visiting. Tour groups will visit music, art, science and the Fitness Center and spend aprox. 20 minutes in an Academy classroom. Thank you in advance for welcoming these students to Cleveland.

Want to take the SAT @ Cleveland? The deadline for the 3/10 test is 2/10. The deadline for the 3/5 test is 4/6. Come by the College/Career Center for more information. Fee waivers are available to juniors and seniors who qualify, so don’t let the cost stop you!
Want to get a piece of $15 million in scholarships? Apply for OSAC scholarships. One application lets you apply for multiple scholarships and some are for Cleveland students only. Applications are due 3/1, but turn yours in by 2/16 to enter the drawing for a $500 early bird scholarship! Stop by the SSC for more information.

The Krause family provides a $4,000 scholarship to a Cleveland student each year. One CHS student will definitely receive this award. You must plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college right after high school and have a 3.0 GPA.

PORT of PORTLAND is hosting a Career Day for Juniors and Seniors Fri. 2/10, 8:30-12pm. Attendees will participate in a simulation of 4 day heavy snow and ice conditions, learning to serve passengers and keep flights on schedule. You will work one on one with members of the fire dept. and air traffic controllers at the Port of Portland. See Ms. Calhoun in the SSC if interested. Only 24 slots available!
