Need not be available during the day. This
is Cleveland's major fundraiser. We need help with food
(serving and procurement), decorations, cashiering, and
auction item procurement. |
| Booster Club |
Need not be available during the day. Volunteer
time at games and events, attend monthly planning meetings,
and raise financial support for CHS athletic teams. |
| Bridging the Gap |
Need not be available during the day. Help
student representatives lead incoming freshmen and their
parents on tours of Cleveland or help serve refreshments
for this event that takes place in the fall. |
| CIM/State Testing |
Must be available during the day. Help
CHS staff sort and organize testing materials. |
| Clothes Closet |
Must be available during the day. Pick
up clothing donations at CHS and deliver to store location.
Work as a volunteer for one or two shifts at the Clothes
Closet, an outlet run by PPS for low-income families. |
| Cleveland
Community Field Project |
Need not be available during the day. Help
to replace Cleveland's existing outdoor athletic facilities.

| Dance Chaperones |
Need not be available during the day. Monitor
activities and help with coat check at Cleveland High
dances. |
| Data Entry |
Need not be available during the day. Assist
any chair who has a need, such as Directory, Volunteer
Coordinator, Auction committees, etc. Access to a word
processor is a must. |
| Directory |
Need not be available during the day. Help
alphabetize forms, proof-read, or sell advertising space. |
| eNews |
Need not be available during the day. Edit
and send out weekly email to families. Maintain list membership. |
| Foundation |
Need not be available during the day. Help
with events or fundraising ideas. |
| Grant Writing |
Need not be available during the day. Assist
with grant writing, research, and/or goal setting. |
| I.B. Program |
Help the I.B. Coordinator organize
committees for t-shirts, assist with testing during
the day at school, and/or help with the end of the year
I.B. party. |
| Landscape |
Need not be available during the day. Adopt
and maintain a manageable portion of the Cleveland landscape.
Mowing and edging are the primary responsibilities;
mower available at school. |
| Library & Book Room |
Must be available during the day. Duties
include stamping, mending, bar coding, shelving, and
rganizing books. Also help with book check-in at the
end of the year. |
| Reflections |
Need not be available during the day. Assist
with this National PTA Sponsored Art Program |
| Registration |
Must be available during the day. Work
an afternoon or morning shift during registration (two
weeks before school begins). Hand out schedules, PE uniforms,
or help students find the right textbooks. Also help stuff
registration packets for mailing prior to registration. |
| Rose Festival Tea |
Must be available during the day. Volunteers
help set up and serve a tea for the Rose Festival Court
and their parents. may need help purchasing food or supplies. |
| Senior All-Night Party |
Need not be available during the day. Help
organize the activities for the end of the year all-night
Senior Party. Help with facilities, games, activities,
chaperones, fundrainsing, and transportation. |
| Senior Baccalaureate |
Need not be available during the day. Help
organize the baccalaureate ceremony that takes place prior
to graduation in June. Help choose the speaker, prepare
a program, and/or provide refreshments. |
| Senior Lunch |
Help plan, decorate for, cook and serve this bugget
style lunch for seniors after Senior Assembly. |
| Spring Plant Sale |
Must be available early May. Help
run this traditional spring fundraiser. Compile plant
order forms, help sort plants after delivery, and oversee
customer pick up in the Cleveland parking lot. |
| The Spotlight |
Need not be available during the day. Distribution
members are responsible for folding, labeling, and organizing
the newsletter for bulk mailing. |
| Student Services Center |
Must be available during the day. Coordinate
individual sub committes. Help students with education,
social, and career planning. Help facilitate the counseling
center in a variety of ways. |
| Teacher Appreciation |
Need not be available during the day. Help
organize end of year luncheon for teachers. Enlist volunteers
to donate salads or desserts. |

Need not be available during the day. Help
maintain the website. Make updates as needed. No html
experience needed but word processing abilities a must. |
