IB applications for 2008-2009.
The Business Management/Marketing Focus Option
is a four-year program leading its graduates toward college
business schools and professional careers. This interdisciplinary
program provides specialty concentrations in accounting, marketing,
office systems and computer technology.
This Focus Option:
- Features opportunities for students to increase
business knowledge, interpersonal skills, oral and written
communication skills.
- Incorporates classroom business concepts
and computer applications with hands-on, community-based
training projects, internships, Future
Business Leaders of America, and actual case studies.
- Allows students to earn college credit through
PCC for business coursework.
ADMISSION
Admission to the Business Focus Option will
follow the Portland Public Schools lottery procedure. Attendance
at a mandatory parent meeting and signing a statement of program
understanding is required to be considered for the lottery

February 1, 2008- 9:00 a.m.., Room 380
February 7, 2008 - 8:30 p.m., Library (after "Bridging
the Gap")
February 12, 2008- 4:00 p.m. Room 380
February 19, 2008- 7:00 p.m., Room 380
