Students living outside the attendance area
of Cleveland High School, or students living within the
attendance area but interested in Cleveland's special focus
programs, must enter into the transfer lottery.
- This centralized lottery is managed by the
Enrollment/Transfer Center
- It is a random, computer generated process
that assigns student transfer requests to a predetermined
number of spaces.
- Families are making at least a one year commitment
to the transfer school.
- The Enrollment/Transfer Office will notify
families of the lottery results at the beginning of April.
Families have 10 days to reject the transfer and return
to their neighborhood school.
